Installation Tips

  1. Mount using the compatible P6078 deck antenna mount (or P6071/P6079 if ordered in) on deck or cabin top.

  2. Route the supplied 5 m RG‑58 cable neatly to your VHF radio.

  3. Ensure base and ferrule are tightly sealed against water intrusion.

  4. After installation, test transmission across marine channels and verify signal clarity.

  5. Inspect the base and whip periodically for corrosion or wear—especially after extended exposure.
