Overview
The SM5016(650) beltpack transmitter is used with the Chiayo Challenger Portable PA and Focus 505 Portable sound systems, and also the SDR816SC diversity receiver. It comes complete with a clip-on lapel microphone but can also be used with many other headset microphones, including the Shure WH20.
This is a high quality, reliable, multi-channel UHF wireless microphone transmitter on legal NZ frequencies. Operating on the UHF band gives longer range and better audio quality, and with 16 channels available you can switch easily if you run into interference.
MSL also stocks the Chiayo SM-6100-IRDA(624), a newer-generation beltpack on the 624MHz band with IrDA sync and a wider 100-channel range. Both remain current, genuinely stocked products, choose based on which frequency band and receiver your system uses.
